There's my live journal thingey where I'm gonna post all my fanfics and all. ^_^';
-------------------
I was sitting in the booth of a coffee place that I went to quite frequently, simply named "The Downtown Coffee Shop." Even though I couldn't drink coffee, as the dairy and caffeine makes me sick, I went there daily to order a soy latte. I always sat in the booth next to the window to enjoy the view of the trees, buildings, and flowers.
:-:
I entered the coffee shop as I normally did, and made my way over to the counter to order my regular Soy Latte. The lady saw me approach and asked, "Soy Latte?" We both laughed as I replied "You know me too well."
:-:
After I made my order, I walked over to my regular booth and sat down. After a few minutes the lady walked over and placed my Latte on the chalk-coloured table. I took a sip of my Latte as I saw someone walking outside, who looked remarkably like John Lennon. "It couldn't be." I thought. He stood outside momentarily looking at the sign. He apparently decided to give the joint a shot and as he walked to the door, we made eye contact through the window. "Wow does he look like him." I thought. He continued inside through the door, and the little bell attached to the door alerted the lady that another customer had come in. I continued watching him, summing him up. When he stepped inside, he looked over to me again and we locked eyes. However I quickly broke the gaze by looking down, being the shy person I am.
:-:
He ordered some coffee and looked around to decide which booth to sit in. He once again glanced over to me, catching my stare. I looked down again, slightly smiling, as I knew he'd seen me. I heard footsteps coming towards me as I tried to act calm and non-nervous.
:-:
"'Ello thur." He said as he stood next to my table. I slowly looked up and realized he had a Liverpudlian accent. "Uhm... hey." I said, my voice shaking slightly with nervousness. "Do ye' mind if I take a seat with ye'?" "OH uh... no not at all." He smiled and sat down across the table in the other booth. "Aren't you... J-John Lennon?" I asked, trying to hold back my nervous laughter. "Yea I am, ye' know who I am?" He replied, giggling a bit at my apparent nervousness. "Oh... OH MY GOD! Oh my God! You're John Lennon!" I exclaimed without control. This made John laugh hysterically. "Yea I am, I take et that's a good thing then?" He giggled. "Of course! I mean WOW!" I enthused. Realizing I was embarrassing myself, I tried to calm down a bit and act cool. I sat for a moment thinking of something to say that wouldn't make me look like another fan acting like a jackass. "Gah... Sorry about that. Just excited, being my regular jackass self." I said laughing, and slightly blushing. "Ah no et's just fine, would ye' like to go somewhere then?" "Like where?" I had a beaming smile, ear-to-ear, this must've been a dream, but it wasn't. "Perhaps the park, et's quite nice today." He replied looking out the window. "Sure works for me." John smile and nodded at me, picked up his coffee, stood, and I did the same. "So what's your name then?" He asked, and I nervously replied, "Virginia... Virginia Williams."
:-:
We strolled out of the coffee shop and the warmth of the late morning hit us. "Well esn't that just the prittiest dress?" He said to me with a charming smile. I shyly smiled at him and looked down as he put his hand on the small of my back and guided me down the sidewalk.
:-:
We made our way down the street to the park. It was an absolutely beautiful day, and I was with the most gorgeous man on earth. He continued to guide me to one of the park benches by the river. I sat down along with him and we watched the river for a few minutes. John slowly inched closer and put his arm around me. A smile slid across my face that I couldn't help. I tried to hide it, but it was too obvious. "What's so funny then?" He asked beginning to giggle himself. "Oh... Nothing. It's just ironic I guess." "What es?" "You and me." "How?" "Well... we just met like thirty minutes ago, and already we're down in the park like this" I said laughing. "Ohh.. I see. Am I moving too quick for ye then?" "Oh my God no!" I replied quickly. We began laughing and I finally relaxed and leaned into him, watching the river. Some time past, about an hour.
:-:
"Do ye' like to swing?" He asked, glancing over to the swingsets over on the playground. I looked over to the swingsets, "Yeah it's been years though." John nodded and stood up, gently picking up my hand to lift me off the bench. I stood, and he guided me over to the swings. John sat me down on one of the swings and sat down on the one right next to mine. "Well then!" He said laughing, and began to swing. I giggled a bit, "But I'm in a dress!" "Don't worry love, I won't mind." John winked. I giggled, blushed and began swinging a bit. We had some conversation for awhile, and adventured around the park until evening. We decided to take a walk down the bike path right on the river.
:-:
"We've been here all day!" I laughed, lightly grabbing his arm and hand, and held them while we walked. John smiled and put his arm around me. We continued walking until we reached the sidewalk we walked on to get to the park. "This 'as been fun eh?" "Yeah it has been." I smiled and walked closer to him, wrapping my arms around him as we walked under the light posts. He stopped walking and leaned against the wall, and gently pulled me closer. John brushed my hair back and began lightly kissing my neck. I giggled and wrapped my arms around his shoulders as he did the same with my back. "John!" He took a break from kissing me to respond, "Yea?" "John it's my turn." I winked. "Come 'ere then." I then leaned into him and we began kissing. I ran my hand through his hair, and quickly broke away. "What's wrong love?" He asked, having a certain puppy-dog look to his face. I stroked his neck gently with my hand, "We're in public!" I said, beginning to giggle a bit. "Ah, right then. My place?" He returned. "Absolutely." I whispered in his ear, then grabbed his hand. He had that same charming smile again he'd had earlier. "Me car's right near by, the coffee shop." He said pulling me forward towards the car.
:-:
We finally arrived at the car, and John hurried to open the car door for me. I smiled at him and climbed into the car, he gently closed the door and went around to the other side and climbed in. He pulled out the keys and put them into the ignition. "Do you live far?" I asked. "Et's not far from 'ere." He said with an almost reassuring voice. I leaned over, kissed him gently, and leaned back, winking.
